In celebration of International Day of People with Disability, we are proud to partner with Camden Council to offer free pool entry for people with disabilities and their carers! This initiative is a wonderful opportunity to promote inclusivity and provide access to our fantastic facilities for everyone in the community.
When: Monday, December 2nd – Sunday, December 8th.
Where: Oran Park Leisure Centre, Mount Annan Leisure Centre, and Camden War Memorial Pool.
Who: People with disabilities and their carers living in the Camden area.
Join Us in Celebrating International Day of People with Disability
International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) is a United Nations-recognised day celebrated annually on December 3rd. This day brings together government, schools, community groups, businesses and individuals to increase awareness and understanding of people with disabilities.
In Australia, IDPwD is part of a broader effort to support Australia's Disability Strategy 2021-31, which aims to enhance public awareness, acceptance and inclusivity for people with disabilities.
