Why do they enjoy teaching Aqua – what’s their favourite part?
I enjoy the challenge of coming up with a variety of aqua programs for the classes to keep everyone interested. I love to see the members laughing and being silly when they are partnered up or playing competitive games in an aqua class.
What do they enjoy about teaching at your facility?
The staff are great at Oran Park. The members in the aqua classes are very switched on and are very appreciative of me being their instructor.
When they start a class, what’s their intention – how do they want participants to feel?
My intention when starting a class is to keep people engaged the whole time. Giving variety and fun in the class format. I want people to feel like they are getting a great workout while having a good time.
What makes Aqua special – and how do they put their personal touch on it?
Good music will make a great aqua class. I like to dance and clap to the music. I will try to use a few names in the class to make people feel like they have been noticed. Whether they have great technique or their noodle goes flying from underneath them. Each class we are guaranteed a laugh.
