Oran Park Leisure Centre (OPLC) has kicked off the year with an action packed January and has even more exciting events planned for February, bringing the community together for sport, hobbies, and shopping.
NSW Wrestling State Championships: January 28
To start the year, OPLC proudly hosted the NSW Wrestling State Championships, featuring competitors aged 6 years to open adults. Normally held in Blacktown, this trial at Oran Park was a huge success, with 200 registered wrestlers and a large crowd of spectators enjoying a day full of skill, energy, and sportsmanship. Feedback from organisers and participants was overwhelmingly positive, and OPLC is now being considered as the permanent home for this annual event.
Coming In February
Collectors Con: February 15
Collectors and trading card enthusiasts won’t want to miss Collectors Con, returning to OPLC after a successful debut last year. This event is the ultimate destination for trading cards and collectibles, attracting around 2,000 visitors in previous events. Due to popular demand, this year will feature four events, ensuring the Camden region has access to some of the best cards and collectibles on the market.
Market Affair: February 22
For the first time, OPLC will host Market Affair, a community market offering a variety of clothing, accessories, and small items. Markets are always a crowd favourite, providing locals with the chance to browse, shop, and discover unique treasures, all while supporting local sellers.
